Indian Melioidosis Research Forum (IMRF) is an interactive web portal created and administered by a dedicated research team working in the field of melioidosis at the Department of Microbiology, Kasturba Medical College, Manipal University, Manipal, India. During the two decades, our research team under the leadership of Dr. Chiranjay Mukhopadhyay was instrumental in standardizing the microbiological laboratory procedures using serological, culture, and molecular techniques for the diagnosis of Melioidosis. There are more than 500 researchers, microbiologists, public health professionals, clinicians are associated with the forum who are interested in working with melioidosis.
