We planned our delivery, developmental and discovery research to design certain products, programs and policies.

Indian Melioidosis Research Forum (IMRF) is an interactive web portal created and administered by a dedicated research team working in the field of melioidosis at the Department of Microbiology, Kasturba Medical College, Manipal University, Manipal, India. During the past few yearstwo decades, our research team under the leadership of Dr. Chiranjay Mukhopadhyay was instrumental in standardizing the microbiological laboratory procedures using serological, culture, and molecular techniques for the diagnosis of Melioidosis. There are more than 500 researchers, microbiologists, public health professionals, clinicians are associated with the forum who are interested in working with melioidosis.

Our Cutting Edge Research and Consulting Services

For Delivery research, we aim to develop disease models to study host pathogen interactions. We work on environmental surveillance and establishing biobanks. We are in the process to develop POC tests and deliver for early detection at the PHC and SHC settings.
